YOURIEVITCH Serge (1876-1969)

Former student of Rodin, he moves to Paris after the war to exhibit in many Salons. He is renowed for his busts and statues, in the dance style. After travelling to Africa, he exhibits at the Société des Peintres Orientalistes Français and in 1931, at the Exposition Coloniale. His works are compositions about life and culture of he countries he visited. He mostly works with bronze.
