VERLET Raoul Charles (1857-1923)

Verlet conceived many public and private monuments in Paris. Former student of Barrias and Cavelier at the parisian Beaux-Arts, his busts and subjects are presented at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1880. He conceived many allegorical or mythological subjects following the academic spirit of his time. His artwork is made out of plaster, marble and bronze cast by Barbedienne, Durenne or Thiébaut.
