SCARPA Ricardo (1905-1999)
Born in Venise, he is taught at the Beaux-Arts and moves to Paris in 1928. His sculptures features busts and animal subjects and though he has a neo-classic style, he sometimes stylizes his work and pushes it to abstraction. He also made many decorative items and medals after the war. He uses bronze, wood and stone.
