RIVIÈRE Théodore

Mercié, Falguière and Jouffroy were the teachers of this sculptor and architect. He starts to be known by his sculptures in Paris in 1894, and later conceives symbolist works such as portraits and monuments. He mixes many materials such as marble, ivory, bronze, gold or silver and sent many of his works at the Salon from 1880.
