MONARD Louis de (1873-1939)
Monard moves to Paris in 1897 where he meets Rodin and Bartholomé, starts painting and sculpting. He later exhibits at the Salon des Artistes Français. As a naturalist, his subjects are mostly farm and wild animals but he also creates busts and memorials. His bronzes are cast by Valsuani and Rudier, among others.
