MOIGNIEZ Jules (1835-1894)

This animal sculptor is recognised from the 1855 Expostion Universelle and seems to be very interested in birds. He was taught by Paul Comoléra, a bird sculptor. He aslo made other animals and hunting scenes, exposing at the Salon from 1859 to 1892. His work is appreciated in and outside France. He produced high quality and original bronzes edited by his father.
