MEHEUT François (1905-1981)

In 1924, Meheut studies at les Beaux-Arts de Paris and will, from the 1930's, create neoclassical artworks such as “un lanceur de javelot”. In order to depict daily efforts, he creates small bronze subjetcs depicting local fishermen, achieved with a very realist eye. He will be part of the 1937 Exposition Internationale.
