MARQUET René Paul (1875-1939)
Marquet studies at the Beaux-Arts with Falguière and start exhibiting at the Salon from 1909. His chryselephantine work is a realist representation of historical characters in costumes. He is known for his Art Nouveau style which will later evolve to the Art Déco spirit.
