MAN Ray (1890-1976)
This american photographer, painter and director tries working on sculpture and creates a tapestry made out of samples of fabric. He lives in New York from 1913 and is introduced to the Dada movement. He creates his first “Aeorographies” in 1917 and three years later an “obstruction” made out of 63 wood hangers. Moving to Paris in Montparnasse, he becomes one of its enigmatic figures.
