LOUTCHANSKY Jacques (1876-1978)
Taught by Mercié at the Beaux-Arts in Paris, his first exhibitions will be in 1906 at the Salon des Indépendants. His work is already strong but still very influenced by Rodin. During and after the war, his work becomes massive with classic subjects, portraits and characters with timeless attitudes. He mostly works with wood.
