LEYRITZ Léon (1874-1937)
Born in Paris in 1888, Leyritz studied with Aubé, Barrau and Mercié at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. First known as a cartoonist, he also became a decorator for shops, theathers and Opéra. His sculptures are made out of lead, Chrome-plated metal, wood or Stucco. He exhibits at the 1937 Exposition Internationale his work , « Masque et accessoires du vêtement ».
