LEVASSEUR Henri Louis (1853-1934)
Born in Paris, Levasseur studies at the Beaux-Arts with Delaplanche, Dumont and Thomas as teachers. He works with mix of various materials and one of his best artwork « Jeanne d'Arc » is made out of bronze, silver, ivory, gold, fine pearls and rubies. From 1881, he exhibits at the Salon des Artistes Français.
