Little information is to be found about Le Jan, sometimes signing Janle, as his name might have been a pseudonyme, in order to stay anonymous. His animal sculptures, has the cubist spirit of Art Déco style and was cast by Le Verrier. Most of his work is in crackled ceramics and were meant to be largely diffused.
