LAMOURDIEU Raoul, Eugène (1877-1953)

His art was noticed during the 1900 Universal Exhibition as he was working on the Grand Palais' sculptures. First assimilated to Rodin, Bourdelle and Maillol's style, his work focuses on the themes of voluptuous women. He executed anecdotic subjects after the war in the Art Déco spirit and ceramic models, while sometimes adopting the neo-classical style. His bronzes were cast by Lehmann, Rudier, Montagutelli or the Fonderie des Artistes.
