KELETY Alexandre (1918- 1940)
Taught by Imre Karoly Simay, a well known sculptor, painter and graver from Hungary, Kelety studied sculpture before exhibiting at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs as he immigrated to France in 1927. He is well known for his animal sculptures but also for his semtimentalist, dramatic and decorative representations of children, naked women, dancers. He mostly works with bronze or ivory. His stilyzed work is typical of Art Déco.
