JONCHERE Evariste (1892-1956)

Mercié was his teacher in the parisian Beaux-Arts in 1908. From 1909, he exhibits classic style mythological subjects at the Salon des Artistes Français. He won the Prix de Rome in 1925 with a plaster bas-relief. He sent neo—classical artwork from Italy and comes back to France to teach sculpture in the artistic Montmartre.
