JANNIOT Alfred (1889-1969)
Former student of Injalbert and Bourdelle, Janniot receives the first Prix de Rome in 1919. He became famous in the mid 1920s thanks to a groupe sculpture he executed for the Arts Décoratifs exhibition. He became a rising figure of the neo-classical style and specialised himself in monumental and architectural sculptures. He worked on plaster, clay, stone, marble and bronze cast by Susse or Bodin.
