INDENBAUM Léon (1892-1981)

Born in Russia, he studies wood sculpture and mecanics. After 5 years in the army, he moves to Paris at his friend Miestchaninoff and is surrounded by Soutine and Chagall. He will study under Bourdelle and inspired by him, develops a neo-classical style. He also produced more modern arts, close to cubism. He mostly worked on terracotta, marble and stone.
