HEUVELMANS Lucienne (1881-1944)

She attended Hannaux, Puech and Marqueste's classes at the Beaux-Arts and worked on antic copies. She started exhibiting her works, of classical style, at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1907 and was the first woman to win the Prix de Rome in 1911. In the years 1920, she executed some models in an Art Déco and Neo-classical style. She was also part of the 1937 Exposition Internationale
