GUYOT Georges (1885-1973)
Guyot made of sculpture his passion when he discovered Barye's works. He presented his first work, a bear made out of clay, at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1906. His work was first full of realism before it became more stylized, keeping a touch of naturalism, close to Bugatti's works. Bears, monkeys and felines are the themes he worked on. His bronzes are cast by Susse and Godard amoung others.
