Pair of chryselephantine bookends on a green onyx base each representing a seated comedy character, a bird perched on his knees.
Bronze with enamelled patina, ivory and green onyx.
Signed Roland Paris on the marble base.
France, Art Deco period around 1930.
Fairly good condition. Some scratches on the costumes (visible in the photos).
